History

JDI was founded in 1984 as an importer of computer cable and connectivity products, including serial and parallel cables, cables for printers, keyboard, and mice, video cables, and switch boxes for Apple and PC computers. Through the years, JDI's product line has expanded to include new PC and connectivity products, including networking cables, USB products, FireWire products and RF technology. Today JDI offers its customers a comprehensive line of computer connectivity and peripheral products.

International Marketplace

The marketplace for computer connectivity and peripheral equipment is international in scope. In order to compete, both customers and suppliers must be able to do business wherever they can obtain the most advantageous pricing for their products. Unfortunately, the barriers to this trade can be daunting.
